More Than a Majority – A Collective Vision
We are a powerhouse collective of four female artists, Fi Marks, Paula Telizyn, Susan Gardner, and Jela Prančić. We are dedicated to reclaimed space, shared creative dialogue, and the pursuit of excellence in contemporary art.
Consisting of two Canadian artists and two British artists, this international group is rejecting the traditional art show and artist model, changing how the public experiences art.

Toronto-based, mixed media artist, Jela Prančić’s art explores the intersections of history, mysticism, and science, inviting viewers to reflect on the unseen forces that shape human experience.

Through a distinctive practice that builds texture from textile patterns and stained glass effects, Fi Marks’ paintings tell the stories of women past and present.

Paula Telizyn’s portraits are more than just paintings of her subjects, each piece is a dramatic exploration revealing their true essence.

Susan Gardner is a contemporary British painter working primarily in oil.
Through her intensely expressive paintings, Susan forges deep connections between her wildlife subjects and the viewer.
The Fifty-One Percent was born out of a collective desire to do more with our art. To do different kinds of shows. To reach farther. And to do it all together.

“Our collective enables us to step on the world stage, and inspire other artists to forge their own paths, outside of the constraints of the art world.”
Our debut show is scheduled for October 23rd, 2026 in Derby UK. Entitled, The Wild Within, this show will change everything about how the public experiences art.
Art Crush with Fi Marks and Paula Telizyn is the conversational podcast for contemporary artists, painters, and creative entrepreneurs navigating the modern art world.
